Terms of Service
These terms describe the rules for using FlaroCity websites, accounts, KittyCats information, HouseCat tools, APIs, support, and connected services.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to agree to them, or use the service under the authority and supervision of a parent or guardian. If you manage a household member, device, account, or Second Life identity, you must have permission to do so.
2. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify support of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from a FlaroCity-controlled security failure. Do not share private API keys, pairing codes, support-session links, or staff invitations.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use FlaroCity to break the law, harm others, bypass permissions or rate limits, probe or disrupt systems, automate abusive traffic, impersonate another person, distribute malware, expose private information, manipulate market records, or interfere with another user’s account or device. Public pages and APIs must be accessed within their documented controls.
4. Moderation and staff authority
Authorized staff may investigate activity, moderate submitted information, restrict features, remove abusive content, suspend access, or preserve audit evidence when reasonably needed to protect users, data, or the service. Staff access is permission-scoped and staff actions may be audited.
5. KittyCats market information
Market listings and trait prices are observations and estimates, not appraisals or promises. Asking prices are not confirmed sales. A listing that disappears after a complete observation cycle may be treated as a likely sale, but that is an inference rather than proof. Samples, medians, typical ranges, confidence labels, historical summaries, and rare-trait estimates can be incomplete or affected by unusual listings. FlaroCity does not guarantee market value, sale probability, or future price.
6. User-submitted information
You retain responsibility for information and files you submit. You grant FlaroCity the limited permission needed to store, process, display, transform, and transmit that material to provide the requested feature. Do not submit material you lack authority to use or information that should not be placed in the selected privacy setting.
7. APIs and automation
API access is limited to authorized purposes, credentials, methods, and rates. Do not expose keys, evade limits, scrape restricted interfaces, replay signed requests improperly, or use automation to create harmful load. FlaroCity may rotate credentials, reject malformed requests, or suspend abusive integrations.
8. Subscriptions and complimentary access
Some features may require a paid subscription, trial, one-time entitlement, or complimentary grant. The checkout or access screen identifies the applicable offering before activation. Complimentary access has no cash value and may be time-limited or revoked according to its stated scope. Ending a staff assignment does not by itself cancel an independently paid entitlement.
9. Payments, Linden dollars, and refunds
HouseCat may use the displayed cash or card payment provider. Web, image, radio, KittyCats, and bot services use Linden-dollar transactions through registered in-world kiosks. In-world access depends on the identified terminal, avatar, transaction reference, exact amount, and entitlement rules; never assume a transfer creates access unless the service confirms it. Refunds or cancellations follow the terms displayed for the specific offering and the capabilities of its payment channel. Contact support about a disputed result.
10. Service availability and changes
FlaroCity may maintain, change, pause, or discontinue features. Scanners, connected devices, external services, market sources, email delivery, and payment providers can be delayed or unavailable. The service aims to present unavailable or incomplete states honestly, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or terminated for abuse, security risk, nonpayment where applicable, violation of these terms, or a valid legal requirement. Account deletion is subject to the process and grace period shown in Account Privacy & Data. Records needed for billing, security, audits, market history, dispute handling, backups, or legal obligations may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual property
FlaroCity’s site design, software, branding, and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Third-party names, game content, platforms, and services belong to their respective owners. These terms do not grant ownership of FlaroCity software, private APIs, credentials, or third-party material.
13. Warranties and responsibility
The service and its informational estimates are provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FlaroCity is not responsible for trading decisions, lost opportunities, third-party service failures, user-submitted inaccuracies, or indirect losses that could not reasonably be controlled. Nothing here removes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as services and risks change. The last-updated date identifies the current version. Continued use after an effective update means the updated terms apply to later use. Questions can be submitted through FlaroCity Account Support, or through HouseCat Support for HouseCat-specific matters.
